Pottermore to publish a curated collection of articles and anecdotes written by J.K. Rowling with an original foreword by Evanna Lynch.
We are thrilled to announce that on the 29th August 2024 we will be publishing From the Wizarding Archive, a thematically curated selection of 80 articles and anecdotes about the world of Harry Potter, originally written by J.K. Rowling for Pottermore.com and that remain available and free to read on WizardingWorld.com.
A treasure trove on all things Harry Potter, From the Wizarding Archive is available to pre-order now in English in both eBook and audiobook formats, with each featuring an exclusive foreword written by Harry Potter film actor, Evanna Lynch. Thanks to the new linking passages and editorial observations, readers and listeners will be able to journey beyond the Harry Potter stories and enjoy these well-loved articles in greater depth than ever before as they explore insights into the imagination, writing process and backstory behind the series.
This is the first time this content will be available in audio ,with principal narration duties taken on by Evanna Lynch. Alongside Evanna, Hugh Quarshie, Finlay Robertson and Lara Sawalha read J.K. Rowling’s original articles, all of which are accompanied by enchanting sound design and original music.
Following the English language launch the German, French, Italian and Spanish eBooks and audiobooks will be published in November with further languages anticipated in due course.
