Dan Fogler has lent his voice to a brand new audiobook from Pottermore Publishing that goes behind the scenes of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald – available for pre-order today.
The comedian and actor, who portrays the beloved No-Maj Jacob Kowalski in the Fantastic Beasts films, has been doing some sterling work exploring behind the scenes of the film for this original audiobook. Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald – Makers, Mysteries and Magic will be released on the same day as the much-anticipated new big-screen adventure – coming to cinema screens on 16 November.
In fact, here’s Dan himself to explain more.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald – Makers, Mysteries and Magic, written by Hana Walker-Brown and Mark Salisbury, was created from over 100 hours of exclusive interviews with the cast and filmmaking team who have helped to bring screenwriter and producer J.K. Rowling’s new film to life. Some members of the crew and production teams, including the likes of MinaLima, worked across the Harry Potter films too. The globally released, original non-fiction audiobook was produced in collaboration with Audible Originals and Warner Bros. Consumer Products.
From actors Eddie Redmayne to Jude Law, to director David Yates and producer David Heyman, the audiobook surveys everything you might want to know about this latest magical offering from the Wizarding World.
It delves into all aspects of making the new film: the building of a 1927 Parisian set, the influences behind the designs of the film’s many fascinating wands and new insights from the cast on their characters. Dan Fogler talked about being part of this exciting new project.
‘This whole experience has been an adventure for me and I’m really excited for fans to come along for the ride,’ he said of the experience. ‘We made an exclusive, all-access audiobook that takes you to places that no microphone has been before. If you’ve ever wanted to know what it takes to make not just an epic movie but one set in the Wizarding World, this is a must-listen! It covers everything from props, costumes, and acting… to wands and Nifflers! I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we’ve enjoyed making it.’
The pre-order for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald – Makers, Mysteries and Magic is available today on Audible.
