Winter 2021 saw retailers celebrate ‘Christmas in the Wizarding World’ across a number of digital platforms.
As 2021 came to a close, retailer support for ‘Christmas in the Wizarding World’ was stronger than ever. To celebrate the festive season, our toolkit depicted a winter’s day at Hogwarts with the castle and Hagrid’s hut both covered in snow.
Fans love to get lost in the Wizarding World™ at this time of year and reach for their audiobooks and eBooks to re-visit their favourite moments – from Harry’s first Christmas at Hogwarts to the dazzling Yule Ball – making it the perfect time to spotlight the series. This Christmas was even more special than usual with the franchise celebrating 20 years since Harry Potter hit the big screen. Festivities across the franchise culminated on 1st January with Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts. This emotional TV special saw the iconic trio and a whole host of world-famous cast and crew reunite in the place where it all began.
